Pie gig postponed till 11/9

Please note that the Pie gig this month has been moved to Monday, 11/9/09.

No new clips for August, sorry

The August gig consisted of songs we've already got up on YouTube, for the most part. Hopefully we'll get some upload-worthy stuff recorded next month.

My next YouTube project

I'll be recording a couple of songs at home, rather than at the Pie. They will still be "live", meaning without any overdubbing or lip syncing. I'm going to sing a couple of Simon & Garfunkel songs with my friend Sterling Cottam. He and I had a cover band together in college, so these are songs we used to sing all the time. Our voices blend really well, so I think the results should be pretty nice. He'll also be playing guitar on the tracks. We're planning to record next week.

I realize my website content isn't all that current at present. Most of my day-to-day stuff lately has been addressed via my Facebook page and my Twitter page. And my musical endeavors of late can be found at my YouTube channel. I've decided not to embed and post all of my YouTube clips here anymore. It's just a bit redundant.

If you have any suggestions as to how I could better utilize my website, I'm all ears. Until then, my site will continue to be a resource for gig dates and my song list, as well as an archive of older pics. Again, newer pics have ended up on Facebook.
